Sync your Android phone with Microsoft Outlook via Bluetooth

This section helps you setup and use SyncRoid. The application is designed to keep things very simple and easy to use.

Make sure you have installed SyncRoid application on your Android phone.

SyncRoid Lite version is now available on Google Play and Amazon Appstore for Android

Download & install SyncRoid PC Client from here.
You might be asked to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4 which can be installed directly from Microsoft’s website here.

Make sure Bluetooth is working on your PC and set to discoverable so that your phone can detect your PC and connect.

To make your PC discoverable:

  1. Open SyncRoid PC Client > click Options > click Bluetooth Devices button > Bluetooth Devices wizard will open.

  2. For Win Vista & Win 7: Click Bluetooth Settings > Select Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer For Win XP: Navigate to Options in the Bluetooth Devices wizard > Select Turn discovery on
Start the SyncRoid application on your phone.
Choose the content (contacts, calendars, tasks) to sync
Press ‘SYNC’ button.
Choose direction to sync. Possible options are:
- Two Way Sync (Requires Full Version)
- Phone to Outlook Sync
- Outlook to Phone Sync

If asked permission to enable Bluetooth device, choose ‘Yes’ and then choose your PC from the list of Bluetooth devices searched.

It is important that SyncRoid PC Client is running on your PC so that the phone can connect.

Once paired and connected to the SyncRoid PC Client, you are ready to synchronize. Tap SYNC button to initiate the process.
